Interstate 81: Nighttime guardrail work. Mowing Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from mile markers 298 to 267 southbound in Shenandoah County. Mowing with shoulder closings from mile markers 302 to 298 southbound in Frederick and Warren counties on Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bridge painting Monday to Friday from mile markers 315 to 320 in Frederick County. Ramp work at Exits 307 and 315 in Frederick County. Motorists should be alert for shoulder work.

Interstate 66: A new traffic signal will be installed at the westbound I-66 exit ramp at Va. 79. Also, shoulder closings on bridges over the North Fork of the Shenandoah River for bridge repairs at mile marker 7 eastbound and westbound Monday to Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

U.S. 11: Transportation enhancement at Court Street in Woodstock. Motorists should expect a 12-foot width restriction for utility pole relocation. Also, bridge repairs over Cedar Creek, north of Strasburg. Lane closings. Work will be completed 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Bridge painting from Va. 661 north and Va. 661 south. Lane closings Sunday to Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

U.S. 50: Bridge deck repairs over Hogue Creek between east of Va. 614 and west of Va. 615 in Frederick County. Lane closings from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Also, left-turn lane construction at Va. 750 in Clarke County with left-lane closings Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

U.S. 340: New traffic pattern with traffic using new bridge at Overall Run in Warren County. Speed limit reduced to 45 mph. There will be periodic lane closings between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with flagmen controlling traffic. Shoulders will be closed throughout the work zone for the remainder of project.

U.S. 340-522: Construction at North Fork bridge. Speed limit is reduced to 25 mph.

U.S. 522: Paving from Va. 644 to Va. 665 in Frederick County, with single lane closings from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Va. 675 (Shenandoah): Road closed for removal of temporary bridge west of Va. 42 at Va. 623 in Columbia Furnace area. New bridge construction. Detour will be put in place.

Va. 263 (Shenandoah): Safety project. Shoulder and drainage work south of Va. 721. Ten-foot width restriction and flagmen traffic control. The project includes widening the south shoulder and making a four-foot paved shoulder with curb and gutter drainage. This will allow motorists a chance to recover if they run off the edge of the road.

Va. 292 (Shenandoah): Bridge deck repairs on bridge over I-81 at Mt. Jackson. Flagmen controlling, with possible single-lane traffic.

Va. 707, 720, 730, 767 and 796: Deck repairs on bridges over I-81. Flagmen controlling traffic and possible single-lane traffic.

South Loudoun Street (Winchester): Temporary pavement in use at the intersection of South Loudoun Street and Weems Lane. The South Loudoun Street project involves widening the road with a box culvert extension near Featherbed Lane. Curb, gutter and sidewalk will be added south of Weems Lane to south of Featherbed Lane.

Va. 55 (Warren): Motorists should be alert for new traffic signal operation at Va. 647.

Primary road maintenance: Guardrail work in Shenandoah and Frederick counties.

Secondary road maintenance: Shoulder repair, brush cleanup, patching and grading.
